Keeping Pets Happy, Healthy, and Right Where They Belong—With Their Families.
Fannin County Barking Buddies is a dedicated, volunteer-run 501(c)3 non-profit keeping local pets happy, healthy, and in their homes. We support families across Fannin and surrounding counties by providing essential free services, including spay/neuter programs, vaccine clinics, microchipping, pet food, and wheat straw.
How We Help
We believe that financial hardship shouldn't stand in the way of a pet living a safe, healthy life. By assisting families, we help ensure pets stay out of shelters and right inside loving homes.
OUR FREE SERVICES
Free Spay & Neuter: Helping to reduce pet overpopulation and prevent unwanted litters.
Free Vaccine Clinics: Providing vital health screenings and preventative care to keep local pets safe.
Free Pet Food Pantry: Offering nutritional support to families facing tight budgets so no pet goes hungry.
Free Microchipping: Ensuring lost pets can quickly and safely reunite with their worried families.
Free Wheat Straw: Providing essential outdoor insulation and comfort for local pets during colder months.
Changing Lives, One Dog At A Time
Fewer unwanted litters mean fewer animals surrendered to local shelters. By providing free medical care, microchips, and food resources, we tackle pet overpopulation at the root and reduce the burden on our community shelters. The result? More happy, healthy pets staying exactly where they belong—with the families who love them.

Join the Pack
We are entirely volunteer-powered, which means we can’t make a difference without neighbors like you! Whether you want to help hand out supplies at our next pet food drive, assist with registration at a vaccine clinic, or help us spread the word, we have a place for you.
How You Can Support Our Mission
We operate entirely on the generosity of neighbors like you. Every single dollar and every single bag of food goes directly toward helping low-income families and reducing pet overpopulation in Fannin County.
Fill the Pet Food Pantry
